TARUMANEGARA Business Competition III

“EMPOWER”

11^th – 14^th March 2019

MANAGEMENT STUDENT UNION OF TARUMANAGARA UNIVERSITY ( IMMANTA ) support the development of more business opportunities for the Indonesian citizens in organizing “ TARUMANAGARA BUSINESS COMPETITION III ” with the theme “EMPOWER”  with the tagline “Establishing Millennial’s Possibilities Opportunities and A Well-Made Economic Recovery”.

With this event, students are invited to solve existing economic problems with various functions of management, and it is also expected that students can build new business, develop and maintain existing businesses by creative thinking, being innovative in solving economic problems and problems in creating new business ventures.

Competition Requirements :

1. Actively s1 Undergraduated students
2. Each team should consist of 3 members
3. Students from different faculties from the same university are allowed to be in the same team

Business Case Competition

1. Preliminary Round : In this round, the team that has registered will be sent a case from the company that must be solved and make a case solving report. The case solving report is sent by email with a predetermined time limit.
2. Impromptu Round : In this round, team participants will be given Case 2 suddenly. Each team will be given time to discuss for 60 minutes, after that they will do a close presentation. After close presentation, there will be a coaching clinic that can increase the knowledge & abilities of participants.
3. Debate Round : In this round, each team participants will be given the opportunity to debate by pro and contra opinions about the case given by the Asian Parliamentary type company (according to the motion drawn before the debate begins)
4. Grand Final : This round is the last round of Business Case Competition. In this round there will be a Comradery Session that is useful for participants to get to know each other.

Business Plan Competition

1. Selection Round : The Business Plan proposal that has been sent will be examined by the judges based on the assessment categories provided.
2. Presentation Round : The Big Ten Finalists who have passed the Selection Round will present a Business Plan proposal that has been compiled in the form of PowerPoint for 15 minutes.
3. Business Implementation Round : Big Ten Finalists will implement their business in accordance with the proposal that has been made. In this round there is a possibility of buying and selling transactions where the place will be notified later.
4. Final Conclusion Round : In this round, Big Ten Finalists will enter the round where participants present reports from the Business Implementation Round in the form of PowerPoint.

Registration periode :

1. Business Case Competition : 14^th Jan – 15^th Feb 2019
2. Business Plan Competition : 14^th Jan – 22^nd Feb 2019

Fee :

1. Business Case Competition : Rp 300.000/team (the deadline for payment registration fees is 15^th Feb 2019)
2. Business Plan Competition : Rp 275.000/team (the deadline for paymen registration fees is 22^nd Feb 2019)

Total prize for this Business Competition is 42.5 Million!
