PELITA HARAPAN BUSINESS CHALLENGE 2019

“EMPOWER THE DIGITAL WORKSPACE”

Pelita Harapan Business Challenge (PHBC) is one of the sub-events in Business Week, the biggest annual event for UPH Management students. Designed for university students from all over Indonesia, PHBC 2019 raises the theme of “Empower the Digital Workspace”. It comes up with the hope of aspiring and to find new ideas in the digital field to prepare students for the challenges of the upcoming business area through digital innovations. This will be implemented into a business-theme race, business cases, followed by intense business debates.

Stages :

• Premilinary stage : business kit
• Semi-final stage : business race
• Final stage : business case & battle phase

General rules :

• Form a group of the 3 university students coming from the same university, with no limitations of majors
• Each university could be represented by a max of 3 groups
• Each group must have a proper name

Timeline

• Open registration (jan 14^th 2019 – feb 18^th 2019)
• Close registration (feb 28^th 2019)
• Last tasks submission (feb 28^th 2019)
• Announcement of top 10 teams (march 11^th 2019)
• Semifinal stage (march 20^th – 21^st 2019)
• Final stage (march 22^nd 2019)

Event Detail : 

• Day 1 : Campus tour & welcoming party (March 20^th 2019)
• Day 2 : Business Race (March 21^st 2019)
• Day 3 : Business Case & Battle Phase (March 22^nd 2019)
• Day 4 : BTS & Closing (Mrach 23^rd 2019)

Prize :

• The 1^st IDR 10.000.000
• The 2^nd IDR 7.000.000
• The 3^rd IDR 5.000.000
• Best team IDR 2.500.000
• Best Player IDR 1.000.000
